Want to know where to find the best pool for you and your family?
Ever been to an outdoor pool = Freibad in Germany? Get prepared to pack your picknick basket, blanket, swim gear and what not. Don’t go too late to get the best spots and just enjoy the sunshine and atmosphere.
If you want to go swimming (as in physical activity) go in the early mornings, around lunch or in the evenings. During the day it is impossible as the pools are quite crowed if the weather allows.
Usually there are changing facilities, toilets and kiosk/restaurant to buy french fries, ice cream, drinks and more.

CORONA UPDATE
At the moment the open-air swimming pools are only open with an E ticket. You need to book your ticket online. You can pre-book 3 days in advance (Stadt Stuttgart).
