Stuttgarter Wine Festival - Stuttgarter Weindorf

You love good food and wine? Then this upcoming event is just for you...

One of the greatest wine festivals in Germany will be held in Stuttgart from the 28th of August till the 8th of September:
the 44th Stuttgarter Weindorf (Stuttgart Wine Village).

It is located on the Stuttgarter Marktplatz (market place), the “Schillerplatz” and along the ”Kirchstraße”.

You find regional specialties and a wide selection of excellent regional wines from Wuerttemberg and Baden and typical food from the Stuttgart area in several varieties (like Maultaschen, Spätzle, Schupfnudeln). 

More than 30 hosts and winemakers and three confectionary retailers will be indulging their guests. The opening hours are daily from 11.30 a.m. until 11 p.m. (Thu-Sat until midnight).

Throughout the duration a interesting program will be offered. You can enjoy different bands and groups with their performances. 

On Sundays (1st and 8th of September) a special family program with face painting, a wine village rally and other sports activities are a lot of fun for the kids.
On September 8th you can learn and enjoy all about German bread.
